Description

The Mueller Instant Cold Pack is convenient and is ready whenever you need it. It takes less than 30 seconds to start cooling, and no refrigeration is needed – it activates instantly. This fast-acting cold pack is ideal for sports injuries or first aid.

The Mueller Instant Cold Pack is recommended to help relieve pain, reduce swelling, and speed recovery from minor bumps, cuts, scrapes, and bruises; muscle aches, strains, and sprains; headaches and toothaches; minor burns and insect bites.

Because of the intense cold temperature this instant ice pack achieves, users should always use a barrier such as a towel, tape, or pre-wrap to protect their skin. It is ideal in situations where ice is not available or too messy, or you do not have time for refrigeration.

This instant cold pack works by the mixture of Ammonium chloride and water. When these chemicals are mixed, the reaction creates one of the coldest ice packs available and gives you long-lasting access to therapeutic cooling.

For single use only. After use, this pack should be disposed of.

USES:

This instant cold pack is easy to use and provides rapid access to ice without a freezer or cooler. This is effective as many athletes need a fast way to treat sports injuries such as sprains or strains. The pack also makes for a great travel item because no refrigeration is needed.

Controlling inflammation is easy with this instant cold pack, as it takes less than 30 seconds to start cooling. This provides rapid access to the ice after injury, which helps decrease the pain and swelling, and also improves overall healing time.

APPLICATION:

  • Shake contents to the bottom of the bag. Hold the ice pack away from the body and squeeze sides together with both hands to break the inner bag. Then, shake the pack vigorously for at least 30 seconds to mix it.
  • Wrap or cover the pack with protective material once cold, and then apply the pack to the affected area. It is recommended that you put the cold pack on for 15 minutes, then leave the cold pack off for 15 minutes. Follow standard “R.I.C.E. therapy” – rest, apply ice, compression, and elevate.
