Gaviscon Extra for the soothing relief of heartburn, indigestion & reflux cough. Treatment of acid related symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, heartburn and indigestion, for example following meals or during pregnancy. Gets to work instantly. Suitable for use in pregnancy. Gaviscon Extra works in two ways to effectively relieve both heartburn and indigestion. 1) Quickly neutralises excess stomach acid. 2) Forms a raft over the stomach contents which help prevents acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe).
